This product is exactly what I was looking for. It’s durable, practical, and very easy to use. A great buy!
The product is okay, but it could be improved.
It’s a decent product, but I expected more given the price. but a little more innovation would be great.
I absolutely love this product! exactly what i need.
Didn't care much for the reel. Upgraded to another reel, pole worked great for catching small river trout. Bigger fish I could see breaking the rod. Fun and easy to use.
This is a gift I bought for my father. He likes fishing. His old fishing rod is old. I just bought him a new one. My father likes it very much. I hope he can catch big fish and go home.
i got this for my friend and she absolutely loves it!! Its small and surprising strong. Lifted a full can of soda off the floor!!
The pen rod is probably not used for big fish probably for panfish mostly and you take the risk sometimes it comes with defaults and if there damaged from delivery
I bought this to make my fishing friends laugh. The reel is great and comes pre spooled. Despite being 1 or 2 lb line i caught 2 good size catfish on the same leader and it reeled them all the way up the pier without snapping so we were pretty impressed. It has a great reel. The pole is pretty flimsy but stong enough for bait fish
I bought this for my fiancé and he loved it. It obviously is easy and convenient to transport. Good quality as well. <
Dad likes this birthday present very much. The quality of the fishing rod is very good, the workmanship is very fine, the resilience is full, and the handle is very good. That is great!
The reel is really well made and the rod bends far and holds a lot of weight. It looks to be 2-5 lb test line. I bought this for urban fishing and to be stealth when going when going where fishing is not allowed. There are three sizes, if I were to order again I would probably go with the middle one. Very impressed with the build quality so far.
The price is definitely OK, and it is small and practical, suitable for vacation, of course, it is very simple, as long as it is clear and completely satisfied!
Spent more time fighting the reel than the fish. Line unspools in bundles and causes a mess. Granted I was using lures. If you were fishing with live bait it actually might not be bad and the over all construction isn't terrible.
Great for the money I get a good cast with a 1/4oz Joe's fly caught lots of trout and bass
This is a micro size rod and reel combo easy to carry. I installed new 6lb braided line and modified the drag knob to keep the line from winding on it. Other than that it works amazinly well. I caught fish with spinner bait no problem. The rod is very sturdy and the reel works well, just keep tension on the line while reeling. I go mtb riding on trails that run by a creek and this allows me to stop at remote area and fish for a while. Now the funny part one day I cast a small hook with bait on it over the side of a pier, I laid the rod down with just the tip hanging over the edge. I walked away from it for a while next thing I know a fish took my rod and reel! So I ordered another one!
Loved the idea but I thought it would be smaller great tool though it does the job it should just slap some grip tape on it though it can get slippery.
Caught a bunch of blue gill a 12" large mouth bass and a decent sized crappie on this little bada$$. I love it! Fits easily in my fishing bag, and easy to setup quick for a random line toss. Casts good for its size (just keep track of your line, considering how small the reel is the line is wound tight so tangles are possible if your not holding tention) overall great setup for the price!
Really happy with this little rod! I bought it because it seemed so easy to just throw in a bag and take anywhere for a quick line drop. I replaced the mono it came with with 15lb braid, and made my own mono leaders. I decided to try for some big cats in the river near my house to test it out and see if it was “CCC” (Cheap Chinese Crap) or if I could actually take it biking and hiking etc and catch more than bait fish. Well it held up really well so far on two big cats! I wear a size 8 shoe, the largest cat was over 14”. it’s a very small hold in the palm of your hand reel so you can’t put a lot of line on it to cast (the braid helped), but it casted well. Nice action. It’s a cute and very useable gift and I plan on beating this thing up on every camping or kayaking trip I go on. Only downfall is the eyes are so small, you’ll have to take your hook and leader on and off every time you want to put it away fully. I left the reel on and still managed to cap it with it’s little cap. ❤️ <ol class="writePic"
Great product for the money. Very compact and light weight. One of the guides did pop loose from the fiberglass, but was easy to fix with super glue. This is not a professional grade fishing rod, but that’s not what I was expecting for this price. Very satisfied with this purchase. <o
Thay love it
I love stuff I love cheap weird unique stuff and this fits right in the category as a fan of fishing I’ve been fishing for about 30 years now and when I saw this I was like this is just dumb enough to be awesome . So here’s the breakdown Haven’t had a chance to fish with it but I’ve looked it over well. The reel: it’s construction is out of metal on the base and plastic on the line housing. Comes with terrible line on it but that’s no big deal. It functions just like a decent reel you’d find at Walmart. The rod: it’s a telescopic rod with very little eyes so it can fit in the pen cap housing. It’s flexible and light. Feels like pretty cheap construction but it works well. My only real concern is that the eyes are so small it’s gonna be hard to cast bar with anything above a 6 pound test but I put 10 pounds on it anyways because that’s all I had. Overall it’s cute little fun rod and reel. It would be great for bluegill or crappy fishing it’s essentially an ultralight rod. I think that this would be a great little rod and reel combo to keep in the glove box or trunk in case you come across a pond you can use it to just throw and see what’s there and then come back with real equipment later. <ol class="writePic">
Cast and retreves well, easy to carry. Not made to take a beating but this will work when you don't have a pole.
This was a gift
